Logitech G27 Unboxing

Last week was like hell for me. I was hoping for some attention from my friends or from anyone who really do care. Then got bored and look for something to put my attention to. And I ended up looking at my Wishlist page, and decided to buy something from the list. Since I got some spare money that I saved just in case my so called friends would like me to treat them for a dinner or something, but oh well, I  guess they’re just too busy or not that really interested. So last Friday Oct 9, 09, I decided to buy the racing wheel for my PS3/PC well, its compatible to the PS3 and PC. It is the new Logitech G27 Racing Wheel. It cost me 13,000 PHP or about 280$, which has a MSRP of 300$. You can view the features and specification at Logitech’s webiste here: Logitech G27. and here are the unboxing pics after the jump.

The steering wheel has a good feel, it has a real leather on it, it also has a paddle shifting and. I think it is quiet and smooth while you turn the wheel. The shifter is also good. nothing much new since the G25 they just remove the squential part of the shifter. and about the pedals, hmmm it is heavy. well but that is a good thing. and it also feels like the real thing. you need to apply more force though to the break and clutch than of the accelerator.

I tested it on the Ps3 with the game DiRT 2 and it works perfectly except for the rev lights at the steering wheel. You just need to really get used to it at first and a couple of tweaking on the options and you’re good to go. You can easily make the car drift at the game using this racing wheel. I also tested on the NFS Shift for the PS3 and it also worked like on the DiRT 2, but you don’t need tweaking at the options. it is much easier to drive cars at NFS Shift than DiRT 2.

this is not really a review. this is just the things i noticed and what i think about the G27 racing wheel. and there are also lots of reviews out there about this racing wheel.
